EUROSPORT-Javier Hernandez never expected to play such a pivotal part in Manchester United's glory quest this season.
The Mexican striker has enjoyed a stellar campaign for United, scoring 20 goals as the Red Devils strode to the Barclays Premier League title and reached the Champions League final.
Hernandez was also the man brought down by Paul Robinson to gain United the penalty which secured the point required to clinch a record 19th championship at Blackburn yesterday.
And, as he basked in the celebrations, the 22-year-old admitted he had been taken aback by his first season in England.
"This is unbelievable," he told MUTV.
"Of course I imagined that we could win the title but I never thought I would play so often and score so many goals. I am delighted to be part of this great team."
