Besiktas land Bebe for season

ESPN-Manchester United forward Bebe has joined Turkish side Besiktas on a season-long loan, the Premier League champions have confirmed.
Bebe joined United in a shock £7.4 million deal from Portuguese club Vitoria de Guimaraes last summer and has struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford.
He made just seven first-team appearances last season, although the Portugal Under-21 international did manage to score in the Carling Cup and against Besiktas' Turkish rivals Bursaspor in the Champions League.
Bebe never played a game for Vitoria and was available for £125,000 from his old club Estrela da Amadora just months before he joined United and Sir Alex Ferguson admitted he had only seen the player on video.
The forward, who scored six goals in 13 appearances for United's reserves, will continue his development at Besiktas, who finished fifth in the Turkish Super Lig last term, during the 2011-12 season.
Turkish news agency Dogan Haber Ajansi (DHA) reported last week that the loan deal would be with a view to a £2 million permanent switch, which would represent a £5.4 million loss for United.
